This week’s CMYLK pairs palettes with three works by New York-based artist . Licht, who is represented by , studied at Smith College and received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She often paints still lifes, though the images we chose here are somewhat more abstracted. The colors, soft, yet rich, are stacked firmly but not rigidly, one against the next, for sturdy and interesting compositions.
